Despite hoping and hoping that a squirrel would (safely) scamper across the street while I was taking this photo, it just didn't happen. Perhaps I was too focused on the sign to notice anything else.
That's so charming! I have a walnut tree that brings many squirrels in the fall. Now they are raiding our bird feeders. I think they're cute, but folks in these parts don't like them much and, (gulp) shoot them. :(
You should have pulled that sign up and planted it in my yard. I have so many of those pesky little critters that they would have been fighting each other to get in your picture!

That almost guarantees the next time you're at that spot..there will be a squirrel crossing the road. Great photo!

I'm sure they've already all been run over. Signs like this probably cause people to speed up! ;-)
That is too funny! Every inch of every street in Ocala is a squirrel crossing! I'm surprised more of the little critters don't get run over!
I think the sign is telling drivers "Target practice here!"
