Citrus Square

Citrus Square is a fairly new development near downtown with condos upstairs and stores downstairs including a cafe, chocolatier and dry cleaners.  It's also where Pomona Bistro is located, which I introduced you to recently.  I really like the design and colors of the building, as well as the attention to detail.  Nothing cookie cutter about this!

Love the whole look. I could move right in. I'll take the condo above the chocolatier!

I bet those apartments above those businesses make a lot more money for their owners than the businesses do. They are beautiful.

Charming. Sort of French Quarter style with those little balconies with wrought iron.

I love this street. Every time we are down there my daughter and husband tease me and tell me we are moving "downtown", so I can live my EUROPEAN dream. Thanks for your photo of the day!

Very nice. Like a cross between a British street and an American one.

I hope you aren't mad at me, lol!

I like this "new urbanism" approach, in which new buildings are built like the old ones, with varied facades, retail below and living space above, walkability, etc. This example looks great.
