Myakka Hawk

SDP 9-27-12
One last photo from my visit to Myakka State Park in Sarasota County.  I was surprised to see this red shouldered hawk because I've never seen one in the park before.  And, I was quite impressed by its girth.  What a plump birdie!

He probably just had a great lunch! Beautiful bird shot, as usual!

Terrific photo! Just beautiful! I'm jealous 'cause I don't seem to even see these birds much less get a good picture of one! :-)

I see them in my own backyard frequently. I can always tell there is one nearby because all of the squirrels go into hiding! This one is beautiful. I like how it is balancing on one foot.

I puff my chest out like that when there are pretty girl photographers around. Did you stay until he exhaled?
