Although it's been nearly three weeks since Tropical Storm Debby stalled and dumped a foot of rain on us, signs of the aftermath are still prevalent. Immediately after the storm passed, about a dozen boats were scattered on the beach, in the mangroves and elsewhere. All have been claimed except for these. Typically, a notice is posted on derelict boats and after a certain amount of time if they aren't moved, the city hauls them away and destroys them. **crunch** I was hoping to be less busy by now so I could resume regular SDP posts. Ah, well...the good news is...I'm making progress and feeling better. Hope everyone is having a good summer!

How odd that the boats haven't been claimed yet. It would be a shame to destroy them if they're not damaged. They should auction them off.
As for summer, it's been nice and hot up here in the northeast. We could use a little rain tough. Everything is really dry. Crunchy grass.
It's hard to believe no one will claim them. Such a shame!
That does seem strange that no one claims them.
No one claiming an expensive boat? How strange . . .
