It's theme day for all of us in the City Daily Photo world. Today's theme is 'postcard-worthy'. Well, SDP staff is very fortunate to have lots of postcard-worthy photo opps here, including the beach, seashells and the Gulf of Mexico. This is Turtle Beach on Siesta Key.

Very nice, SRQ. And I like the way you blurred the surf. Gray sand? I didn't know.
I could take a siesta on the beach. I love the water.
It's beautiful! I used to go walking on that beach years ago when I lived in Sarasota.
this is so pretty!!
How lovely. I love that curve in the way and of course the shells. I can never get past your header tho. I'm totally in love with it. I have a painting on my wall, bought in Cairns, of pelicans on the shore, so of course whenever I see your header, I'm back in Cairns. I don't remember them from my time in Sarasota but it was spent on the boat of a local.
Great shot with the shells and the water. You guys have the best shells down there. We don't see those in the Tampa bay area.
I miss florida for mostly only one reason, and that is my trips to Sarasota and to Pinecraft. I miss Yoders restaurant as well, but then again im now living in Amish country so i have my pick of places to eat. Richard
I'd just be beachcombing!
