Two Birds on a High Wire

I was near downtown taking a photo of something completely different when I heard a loud incessant squawking.  Really loud.  It was a small of flock of wild parrots.  Then, the chased ensued.  I moved here and there...hither and thither...tripod and camera in hand trying to track down the chatty birds.  All the while, passersby were craning their necks, wondering what the crazy lady with the camera was possibly photographing.  This was the result.

Ha! Wish I was there to see you! I like the shot! I've been to Marina Jack's and a few places when the parrots were about squawking, they sure are loud!

Yes, I agree with Birdman - worth the effort. We have flocks of parrots of some kind in the south-east of England, the result of another kind of Great Escape.

And a good result it is! We have wild peach-faced love birds here in Phoenix but the only birds I ever see around my house are pigeons! Would love to run across something as colorful as these guys someday.

How cool! I can't imagine a flock of wild parrots flying overhead. Must have been a neat sight.
