In preparation for returning to work, the entire SDP staff ventured out to the celery fields yesterday morning. While taking photos of a variety of water fowl, a fellow photographer (toting a telephoto lens to die for) casually nodded his head skyward and said, 'Oh, and there's a bald eagle". For me, there's nothing ho-hum about seeing such a majestic creature soaring effortlessly through the sky. What a treat! As fast as it appeared, it was gone. I really, really like the celery fields!
