8 Years...and Counting

Today marks eight years that I've been cancer free.   No, big thoughts...except to point out that I'm tremendously blessed.   Over the years, I've accumulated quite an assortment of breast cancer pins.  So, I'm pondering which one to sport on my jacket lapel as a quiet celebration at work today.  Right now, my mood is leaning toward the pink boxing gloves.  But, we'll see how the morning plays out.

Many thanks for sharing this; I especially like your use of the word "blessed". . Our best friend in France, age 46, is very courageously going through post-op treatment at the moment. We call almost every day. Every good wish for your future.

Congrats on your 8 years. If this was still the 80's you could wear all of your pins on your torn sweatshirt.

Congratulations, that is wonderful news! My mom is a breast cancer survivor too. It's nice that you can celebrate your cancer free anniversary in October...breast cancer awareness month.
