Still Going Up

Gas prices jumped another 10-cents here over the past couple of days.  That's a 20-cent increase in the last month since I posted this shot from the same gas station.  Any guesses when prices will hit $4.00/gallon?

1.7 € / litre here for the basic unleaded. That's 2.45 $ for 0.26 gallon. Phew, just did my morning maths.

Ouch! It's the same price here in northeast PA.
My guess is that by Memorial Day weekend we'll see 4 bucks a gallon. It sure makes you think twice about running to the store for any little thing.

Ouch! Ours hit $3.65 yesterday. And I'm planning a 2500 mile road trip in a few weeks. Perhaps I should fly!

I would say Memorial day, but how about before the end of April. Its around $3.65 around here. I did see $3.74 by the lake, but they charge more.

Perhaps then voters will start to approve spending on railroads and other forms of energy, but then again, maybe not. We'll just land troops in another oil rich country.

I say Memorial Day--just in time for summer trips. It's ridiculous!

We were just discussing this at our house. Our daughter is playing travel team softball and we are hoping there is not too much travel!!! Gas is just to expensive.

We will all have to get used used to rising oil prices; it's a finite resource for which there is an ever growing world-wide deman. In the short-term a switch away from 'gas-guzzlers' would help. Long-term, new technologies , hopefully, will help
