Firey Glow

I haven't seen a fireball sunset like this for quite some time.  I was torn between driving toward it and watching it get bigger before it set, or pulling off University Blvd. and dashing into the road to nab a shot.   You can see which option won.

Be careful with those gossamer wings of yours. Don't get too close.

How cool that the road appears to be heading right into the sun!

This is like the best shot ever! I cannot believe how large the sun appears down there near the equator compared to up north where I am

Probably a smart move to take the photo when you did, those sunsets move fast and this was a pretty one!

Perfect shot! The golden glow, where the sun is and that long road - great capture.

Have a great weekend!

Great picture - you can tell it is near the Autumnal (or Vernal) Equinox because the sun is nearly perfectly lined up with an east/west road! Glad your timing worked out with the traffic:)
