Your table awaits at O'Leary's tiki bar in downtown Sarasota. Cold beer...dog friendly environment...and located right on the bay. What else do you need on a Friday?
Re: the water photo. I was playing with shutter speed that day. I layered 3 different exposures and had used Daylight WB which gave everything a bluish tint so I warmed it up a little with a filter. The layering gave the appearance of an even slower shutter speed which I was not capable of doing because it was still too light to blur the motion effectively. I need to get an ND filter. Sometimes I feel a little dirty when I post something I've polished up. Most of the time I will only adjust curves on my photos to make the colors pop. Although I just got a new Nikon that manages color much better than my old one.
We go there often on Sunday mornings because we can take our dog. It's a little hot now, but soon we'll be there often again! I have some photos on my blog from there too, but from a different view. I like your shot!
That sounds heavenly on a Friday afternoon! But actually, since I don't imbibe anything alcoholic (never acquired a taste for it), knowing that it's the weekend is enough to make me smile.
