Watery Wednesday - No Oil

Perfect day to enjoy the bright blue sky and sugary white sand at Siesta Key beach.  Still no oil here, even after Tropical Storm Bonnie buzzed through last Friday.  I'm growing more confident with every day that we might just avoid it.  **(fingers crossed)**  To view Water Wednesday captures from around the globe click here.

This is neat. A study in primary colors. Really great contrast with endless blue background. I'll keep my fingers crossed no oil. Especially after seeing your lovely bird collection over there.

We were there just yesterday for the beach run. I didn't bring my camera, but I told my daughter we had to time it right to go back to get a pic of the life guard stands with the flags still up and not so many people. I have a thing about life guard stand photos! Hehe!

Great shot! Hoping things will stay clear for you. Every day when I go to the shore I say a special thank you to God for something I have always, unfortunately, taken for granted.
