A sea anemone in the Gulf of Mexico washes onto S. Lido Key beach. The water, thankfully, is still pristine. The week prior to the Deep Horizon oil well being capped, NOAA predicted there was less than a 1% chance of oil hitting Sarasota. Let's hope that's true! This is a cool photo with the foamy tide -- and good news too. Glad to know your town didn't have to contend with all that.
It would be a shame indeed if the beaches should get polluted!

This is a good thing. I hope the oil stays away from the beach. I hope the well has finished spewing for good, too.
