Watery Wednesday - No Oil

A sea anemone in the Gulf of Mexico washes onto S. Lido Key beach.  The water, thankfully, is still pristine.  The week prior to the Deep Horizon oil well being capped, NOAA predicted there was less than a 1% chance of oil hitting Sarasota.  Let's hope that's true!  Click here to see more Watery Wednesday photos from around the world.

This is a cool photo with the foamy tide -- and good news too. Glad to know your town didn't have to contend with all that.

It would be a shame indeed if the beaches should get polluted!

This is a good thing. I hope the oil stays away from the beach. I hope the well has finished spewing for good, too.

Thanks for stopping by our blog. Have a super Wednesday!

Nice bubbles and motion you caught. Yes, I'm in with everyone else in hoping the oil won't affect you and could we even begin to hope...not be leaking anymore?

Look at all that foam! Great that the water is still oil-free.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!

I heard the same thing. Let's hope they're right. Is that a sea urchin in the foam? Nice shot!
