The day after I posted last month's gas photo, the price shot up 10-cents -- in a matter of hours. Then, it increased another 10-cents over the next couple of days. What the heck?! So, now we're facing $3.89. That's up 44-cents in one month. Any guesses what the price was one year ago? $3.69 --- up 20-cents.

It's still about a dollar cheaper than Canada.
Our neighborhood gas is more like $3.65 I think....
ugh, we have gone down a few pennies, I think I saw $3.62 yesterday.
Certainly cutting down on my travel plans.
We're about half as much again SRQ. What annoys me is when petrol stations put the price up at the weekend..there's no way I'd buy then just on principle!
Oh, did you have to remind us! I did hear yesterday that the price of oil is coming down. This yo-yo effect is maddening.
What's really irritating is the the price of gasoline has no relationship to supply and demand. It's governed simply by brokers manipulating the market to increase their profits!
We have one credit card that provides some rebate on the price, which helps. The other day I pumped over $35 worth of gas and it cost me 69 cents!
Of course I had made some big purchases on that card in the recent past! :)
It's a lovely bright capture, but eeks! The prices are about that here too, to our semi-dismay (semi only because of getting sadly accustomed to worse prices in England and Hawaii). Makes me wish I could get by on a bike alone (that will be the day:).
That looks like the price I saw on a board here yesterday. I paid somewhat less at Costco, but it doesn't lessen the sting. I think Lowell's right. The prices don't seem to relate to anything tangible.
Oh dear! Prices certainly going up but still quite a bargain to what we pay here in England. Sadly our prices have gone up significantly last month too. Interesting comments above.
