F is for Frankfurter

SDP 2-20-13
I found myself behind the eight ball with the letter F.   Both my ideas were only available to shoot during the week in the daytime.   So, there I was yesterday afternoon during my lunch hour scampering around downtown in my business attire searching for an F word (tut-tut...mind your thoughts -- this is a family oriented blog) when I thought, 'F is for frankfurter!' and successfully found Nick.  His hotdog stand is located in front of the post office and not only does he serve up frankfurters but also Italian sausage.  I wish I could have enjoyed one, but, alas my tender digestive system will not permit it.   A happy customer assured me, though, that these frankfurters are delicious.  And, Nick says business is doing well now that our seasonal residents are back in full force.  Thanks for the quick photo opp, Nick!  To see other interpretations for the letter F visit ABC Wednesday.

Haha! What do you mean SRQ..I thought of 'frankfurter, straight away haha! I can't eat them either, indigestion for hours afterwards is not worth the five minutes it would take to eat.

F is also for Florida! And just look at that Face! Is everyone in Florida happy like that? He looks so content, so cool and so crisp.

I can eat anything, anywhere, anytime and that looks delicious. If I could get more than your photos delivered today, it would be a fresh cooked frank for sure.

What a great choice and terrific portrait of a happy man who I assume makes many hungry people just as happy as they FILL themselves with his gastronomic delights! Kate, ABC Team

I live approximarely 130 km (80 miles) away from Frankfurt, Germany, but the Frankfurter (inhabitants of the town of Frankfurt) I meet there look totally different from the one you captured on your photo... :-)

If you want to convince yourself: I posted some photos of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2012 on my blog, just scroll down and you will meet my Frankfurter... :-))

The last time I visited an Aussie restaurant - this was at Shibuya, Tokyo, 08/2012 - I had Hamburgers...

Regards from the other side of the Big Pond, Uwe.

That is 'some' frankfurter! Looks delicious and boy oh boy do I miss them over here. Great portrait and well done for getting a result for today.

It's a nice portrait and great for the theme. But knowing what goes into the making of "frankfurters," you were undoubtedly better off not "enjoying" one! :-)

A first class portrait, SRQ. I admire your diligence in seeking out a good subject for the ABC meme. (I don't participate in that one . . . too constraining to try to play with all of the memes.)

Sorry about the fragile digestive system. I am fortunate to be an omnivore.

A perfect choice for the letter F.
That Frankfurter does look yummy.

Alas, no Frankfurters here, either. Red and processed meats are now gone (but not Forgotten). It looks like he serves up a yummy rendition!

And there's always F as in Family (oriented blog).
