Theme Day: Cafe Chairs

SDP 3-1-13
What better cafe chairs to show than those outside our popular French restaurant, C'est la Vie, located in downtown.  Ce restaurant est magnifique.  La nourriture est délicieuse et ils vendent la bière que je préfère:  1664.  Aussi, j'aime parler un petit peu du français aux employés.

When C'est la Vie is open, it's always crowded.  Always.  This time of year, when the weather is especially beautiful, people fill these chairs along Main Street enjoying freshly made pain au chocolate (and other tasty pastries), coffee, crepes, baguette sandwiches, salads....mmmm.  Alas, the chairs are empty due to the combined forces of a rainshower followed by the regular closing time of the restaurant.  C'est la vie, non?  To see other takes on this month's theme day in the City Daily Photo world click here.

J'aime le bleu profond des tables et le reflet des parasols rouges !

Reminds me a little of living in Venice California along the boardwalk. Tres Charmant!

Nice warm photo. This made me smile because I have seen chairs just like these in Coventry. Wow! (Haven't seen that sunshine, though.) And, I have picked up that this is on 'Main Street'. Lovely and quite different than the main streets I have been showing :).

Now these look like comfy chairs. I could lay back with a glass of wine and a dab of cheese on one of these.

Ah, yes, this does remind one of gay Paree!

The blue tables save this one, SRQ. Sounds like a fine cafe.

You are quite the mind reader. I didn't think I was that transparent. This one was too concrete and too bland. The best ones are abstractions like perspective, yellow, silhouette or time. I did my job and checked the box.

Those chairs are definitely authentic French-style! Would love to be there right now instead of in our snowy mess.

Ooh, a real crowd-pleaser of a place, oui? I wouldn't mind ordering all the above, especially the pain au chocolate. Love the sun and the vivid blue lined in a row!

Very nice take on the theme. I like it!

(Our diets sound very similar; my focus is anti-inflammatory. But I haven't given up caffeine or dark chocolate, two things I've managed to self-justify.)
