Bicyclists cruisin' on U.S. 41 in downtown Sarasota. Even though they were traveling in a pack, I thought they were a bit daring occupying the left turn lane during evening rush hour. I prefer my bike rides out in the country -- away from the car exhaust.

I like bicycles just about anywhere, although it can be dicey in a left lane on a crowded road.
"Safety in Numbers" - my mother used to say....

My husband rides on our small country roads and I think that can be dangerous. However, I wouldn't want him on the busy highway.
I almost got ran over by bikers on Saturday. I'd like to take up biking so I can act like I own the road.
