Usually, when I see a battered old door like this, I just imagine what the photo would look like. Well, last night, I couldn't resist taking a picture. I actually was photographing a nearby horse paddock and cow pasture in rural Sarasota County, when I noticed this door across the road. The green plant flowering next to the blown out windows and peeling paint sold me.

These photos always make me curious about the past history of the structure.
This is a beautiful capture. Lovely, just lovely.
Nice old door. Glad you clicked it.
Love this. Totally my kind of photo.
Oh wow, this is wonderful! Nice composition.
It is pretty, SRQ, but it is very very sad.
Ahh... just my kind of place... well done!
love taking pictures of doors ... this one is has so much history
Oooh I really like this decay.
I say a fine "click" too.
Yep, I love doors. I even have a series called "back doors" because sometimes the back door is more interesting than the front one! This one is full of character.
Really nice capture.
