St. Patty's Day = Go Green!

How fortuitous the green machine plays in the second round of the NCAA basketball tourney on St. Patrick's Day just up the road in Tampa!  This sporty Michigan State University garden flag was spotted at an undisclosed location in Sarasota.  You have to support the green team on St. Patty's Day, right?  Go Green!

Interestingly, St Patrick's Day is celebrated more in France than in England where it largely passes unnoticed apart from in the various Irish communities. I think there is a huge celtic music concert in Paris 17 March.

You mean you're not a Univ. of Florida fan? Is it possible that you attended the U of M. Wait, that's in Minneapolis! Oh, you're talking about the state of Michigan. Do they have a university? Heh, heh!

Methinks that banner is flying outside the SRQ executive offices. Good luck to the Spartans tonight. It is safe for me to wise them well because they don't yet impact one of my teams. UConn men won their first tonight.
