Introducing...Pomona

Behind these doors, on the edge of downtown, is the hottest new restaurant in Sarasota.  It's called the Pomona Bistro and Wine Bar  and there's about a week wait to get in.   Right now, they're only serving dinner and their menu looks delicious (not to mention the ambiance).  A friendly staffer, who engaged me to find out why I was taking a photo of their door, informed me the chef is happy to handle special orders for those with food allergies (c'est moi!) with advance notice.  Looks and sounds delightful!  Now, the question is....when to go???

Well, bon appétit for when you do go. I'm jealous of the tubs; it will be months before we see any flowering plants outside here. Nice take.

you may need to sneak a camera inside and get pictures of the food. Sounds like they will go out of their way to please the customer.

Everyone has just reminded me that V's day is in eeek 14 days! :-)

To the best of my knowledge there is no windows meme but this door would have been perfect for Wednesday Doorway which I do on both my blogs. I didn't start it though, I got it in Boston @ Clueless in Boston, who informed that it had, in fact, been started by someone else but I forget which city, somewhere in Europe I think. I don't run a meme for two reasons: 1° I don't want to steal the idea and 2° if it were successful, I wouldn't be able to keep up with the commenting.

This door is like a lovely promise, you'll have to tell us... :-)

Got to wonder how a "new" bistro gets so famous so fast! Must have really good food and/or really good advertising!

If you get in, please give us a thorough review!

Re your question on Ocala DP: Yes, I took that photo of Dillard's sometime between Xmas and New Year's...
