Local Matters

I had the opportunity to be in the WSLR studio last night during the talk show "Local Matters".  WSLR is a community supported radio station with an almost entirely volunteer staff which focuses on original local programming about the arts, justice, peace, government and music (to name just a few topics).  It's located at 96.5 FM on the dial, or you can listen live online.    In the foreground, looking pensive before going on air, is "Local Matters" host Joe Hendricks and that's Steve Norris, his co-host, in the back.  Thanks Joe and Steve -- it was lots of fun!

Yeah, I'm not getting the picture to load either. Google says it's not found.

Hi, SRQ. It didn't load for me last night but it is here today at mid-morning. Were you on the show to talk about your blog or about something else?

Thanks for letting me know, everyone, about the lack of photo. I still don't know why that happens occasionally. Btw, yes...I got a quick plug in for SDP.

Local radio is the best.

I LOVE talk radio ~ I am a degreed journalist but was in the print realm. I've always been fascinated with radio but never had the opportunity to visit a station and see it hands-on. I'm envious!
