(insert foghorn sound here)

It's been quite foggy here every morning this week, which is rather unusual.  Can you see the Gulf of Mexico peeking out under the curtain of fog?  I hope that lifeguard brought a book to read or had something to do in his shack because I doubt he had many lives to guard on Lido Beach that morning.

I can just hear that foghorn's mournful sound! It looks like you were they what call "socked in."

How about "insert self here" instead? My blog profile pic is of our toes in the sand of Lido beach. I'd love to be there right now instead of shoveling snow. We had another 3 inches overnight.

I really like this image. So bleak, so lonely.

Cool shot. I wouldn't have thought to get fog pictures at the beach.

That is a nice lifeguard station! We have had that same fog here this week.

Bleak but there is the promise of a cosy moment in the hut, perhaps. A very nice, evocative shot.

I don't think this is bleak at all. It is a handsome photo, SRQ. Your management will be pleased.

Beautiful...I love fog shots. It looks cold, though...almost like there's a light covering of snow or frost!
