Bundled Up

I heard a report yesterday that every state in the U.S. has snow except Florida.  We don't have snow, but we have frigid temperatures again.   And these guys look ready!  It was 5:30 p.m. last night when I spotted them in rural Sarasota County and already they were bundled up.  Two things I noticed:  all the horses at the ranch were sporting blankets except for a couple; and all the blankets were green except for this bright red and blue one.  Beats me what it all means.  I just hope the horses are as warm as toast.  I'll be digging out the extra blankets tonight too.  It's supposed to dip down to 35.  At least we're not expecting frost like I showed you a few weeks ago.

It's about 13 degrees here in PA and I have my blanket wrapped around me too. Very nice photo!

Nice colourful shot. We wouldn't normally say "bundled up" in UK English for this (though UK English is a little anarchic at the moment); "wrapped up" would be more likely.

We didn't have snow in South/Central Mississippi, but perhaps they got some in the north. Poor horsies! I hope those blankies help keep them warm.

19 here two nights ago ~ which is VERY cold for these parts. I'll bet the horses around here would like some of those blankets!

It was 21 here this morning and we did actually have a few snowflakes fall here a couple of weeks ago, but I missed it! Those horses look so cute in their blankets.

I think it means there was a sale on green blankets, but the white horse has its own fashion sense!!!

What does it mean when Ocala, the Horse Capitol of the World, lets most of its equines go about nekkid? I dunno. But it sure as heck was cold here last night, also! I would cover every living thing with a blanket, although probably not with beautifully colored ones like these two are wearing! :-)
