Drum Circle

Should you find yourself on Siesta Key beach at sunset on a Sunday, first you'll hear these folks in the distance.  Then, the hypnotic pulsating beat of the drums will draw you to them  -- the Drum Circle.  Nothing seems to be choreographed.  They just show up and bang their drums on the beach.  Some free spirits dance and others twirl neon hoops.  It's definitely something fun and different to take in --- if only for a few minutes.

I love the sound of the djembe, we get them all over in Cape Town (you can buy them at any market), and drumming is often done in corporates as team building :-)

Great fun

Cool photo! When I went to Berkeley I'd skip class to listen to the group of about 100 that played in the square. Fantastic
