Visit Florida, the tourism arm of the State of Florida, held the Great Florida Beach Walk yesterday morning. All over the state, people took pictures of the pristine beaches here and uploaded them to a website where the world can see that Florida beaches are beautiful and oil-free -- right now. I wasn't able to make it to the actual walk, but I stopped by Lido Beach later in the day and snapped this shot and submitted it. It kinda looks like the seagulls are lined up and ready to walk. To check out other pics from the Great Florida Beach Walk click here. You may have noticed, I'm continuing to experience problems with Blogger. Intermittently, the photos do not post when I publish via time delay. It's particularly frustrating because I'm unaware of it unless someone notifies me. Has anyone else had this problem? Suggestions on how to correct it would be greatly appreciated!

great composiyion and angle, looks like the beach is endless
I haven't had the photo upload problem that you've been having, but I caved and I did get a Picasa account. Ever since then, it has been easier and faster to upload pics to Blogger.
I love pictures of the beach! They help me get through the long winter up here in Pa. I have a photo I took at Lido beach that's my desktop backround and I stare at it (wishing I was there) daily. :)
I love the angle from which you took this. It creates a sense of longing for summer to return soon.
Have a great Monday!
Many thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
today is a perfect day for a beach walk! your photos is relaxing and a great composition
I've had some Blogger problems, also, but not that one specifically. Always happens when they make changes...they never work out all the bugs.
Love this shot...the low profile...just beautiful!
Great perspective! I'm glad to hear you are still oil free :)
I like the way you took this shot. The shell is perfect!
I read about this Florida beach photo thing and am in Florida at present, but I didn't participate either. Your beach photo is a good one.
