Theme Day: Where I Belong

SDP 3-1-16
When I contemplated today's theme day -- Where I Belong -- several possibilities popped to mind.  But, this is a significant place where I belong:  the outdoors.  Since I can remember, I've always loved to be outside exploring and having an adventure.  Not much has changed over the years.  I don't require palm trees, the beach or even warm weather.  But, I do (strongly) prefer blue skies -- which makes it perfect living in the Sunshine State.  Yep…this is where I belong.  To see other entries from the City Daily Photo community for today's Theme Day click here.

The blue sky and palm trees are looking good. Up to foot of snow along with freezing rain and ice pellets expect here today. ❅❅❅

I like your thoughts. I'm sitting here in the rain just now and some blue sky would be welcomed!

Yup! That's exactly as I imagine you SRQ, under the big blue skies, camera in hand! Perfect theme day post.

The angle of your shot is perfect to emphasize your personal heimat: beautiful trees, bright blue sky and fluffy clouds.

Love your perspective, SDP. But not at Michigan State?

I love it! People keep telling me I should take up painting. I think a palm tree against a blue sky would be the perfect subject and definitely where I belong...looking up at both.

I'm shivering at the thought of Andy's foot of snow, freezing rain, and ice. It makes your palm trees and blue skies look all the more beautiful. And I'm with you completely: outdoors is the place to be.
