For today's mural we've moved up to the roof of the Palm Ave. Parking Garage, which is known as the theatre floor. This little mural is tucked in between two elevators and cleverly incorporates the panel with the down button (and emergency fire instructions) by having the attendant peek her head around the panel. This has to be the most interesting garage I've ever seen! There's some truly wonderful artwork here.
I think this one might be a favorite! What a trompe l'oeil. The 3D effect is incredible! The talent of artists never ceases to amaze me. (I've a soft spot for the Lincoln Memorial too, my favorite monument:)

I like how she's peeking around the panel and offering tickets ... seems almost three dimensional.
I have said it before, SRQ, but the cleverness of these wonderful paintings on the garage wall just blows me away. I want to see paintings like this in every garage I enter!
Very interesting place for mural. I have yet to see one in a covered parking lot.
