Up...Again

SDP 7-31-12
I came this close to missing my monthly gas price photo.  *whew*  Well, the falling gas prices were short lived. Since last month, prices have jumped 20-cents. I don't know about you, but this summer is almost getting away from me.  The video file for a project I worked on for two months suddenly became corrupted and unsalvageable. It didn't even backup properly.  I've never had that happen before.   After re-editing, I'm back where things went awry. But, it's looking good!  (I'm memorializing an epic vacation with an epic video.)   My revised goal is to finish it and be back posting regularly by the end of summer. By the way, it was 86 degrees here at 9 p.m.

You can count this as your "numbers" photo, too.

I can't imagine losing all that work and having to start all over again. Aaaarrgghhhh!

Computers....ugh! They fail on us when we need them the most. Good luck with your project. "Epic" sounds...well....epic!

Yes, the gas prices are disappointing right now. We actually got down to $2.99 for two whole days (and I didn't even need gas at that point!) and now some stations are as high as 3.48 but but the 2.99 station has ONLY gone up 40 cents to 2.39! And I thought it would keep falling and I could take another long road trip in the fall. Wrong again!

Have missed your posts. Sorry to hear about the technical difficulties. They're a fact of life in this age I suppose.

I was waiting for gas price numbers to rear their ugly heads. Going up...

Gas prices go up and neither party talks about putting more money into public transit systems, trains, and alternative energy systems. I wonder why that is? Gee, maybe it's because big oil money dominates and controls Washington. Sorry for the rant, but it's hard not to get cynical.

I think on your last gas price post I indicated we had 2.99 for three days. Since then it has shot up to 3.57 and back down to 3.47. I encountered prices as high as 3.75 on my road trip last week to the Dallas area but for the most part they were pretty steady at 3.44. The news announced tonight that maybe we'll see a break in September. I'm ready!
