Teddy Bear Run

SDP 11-21-11
Not an image you expect to see on the road, is it? This biker (and his fuzzy friends) was part of the 14th annual Teddy Bear Run yesterday morning. Hundreds of motorcyclists roared down the road, complete with a police escort, as they delivered stuffed animals for a charity event benefiting children with cancer. There's something about a burly biker with a cuddly Pooh bear that makes me smile. And, knowing it's all to help sick kids...makes it even better. What a special delivery.  To see more of my pics from the event click here.

cute bear, lol. Do you think MSU will take care of WISC? It seems everyone is picking the Badgers.

Very nice. If you want to collect stuff for a charity, tell your biker friends to do a run...they love to get out and ride!

This is terrific, SRQ. I wonder how many of those burly bikers are accountants and realtors and insurance salesmen.

Sort of a rolling oxymoron, if you ask me. hahahaha Good idea--- they do that here too.

It's certainly a sight to see SRQ, our bikers here do the same thing and it always makes me feel 'squishy eyed' when I see them all traveling to the children's hospital!
